Not Art Records is a digital platform supporting composers, improvisers, and ensembles who are making use of electronics in passionate and inspiring ways. Among the artists appearing on our label are Ubu Boi, Rudebot, Raia Was (Autre Ne Veut), Ron Miles, Patrick Breiner (Battle Trance), Danny Meyer (Julia Holter, Chairlift), and many more.

Tyler Gilmore - Founder

Tyler Gilmore is a composer and electronic musician. He has worked with Jenny Hval, Cuong Vu, Matt Wilson, Ron Miles, Ken Filiano, and many others. His recent premieres include "From Overhead" with The Switch Ensemble at the Valencia International Performance Academy Festival 2016 in Valencia, Spain, and "More Like a Reader" with The Playground Ensemble in Denver, Colorado.

Maciej Lewandowski

Maciej Lewandowski plays bass and writes music. Sometimes this has allowed him to perform in various places in the US and Europe. He hopes to have more opportunities to do so. In addition to composing and performing, Lewandowski is the Director of Production for International Contemporary Ensemble. He grew up in Katowice, Poland and currently lives in Brooklyn.
